Session Details: A digital distributor distributes your music to various digital retailers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, Deezer, Beatport, etc, and collects the money from sales on your behalf. There are several different models for how distributors structure deals with artists. In this session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of digital distribution for independent artists, along with tips on how to evaluate and choose the best distribution partner for your releases. We’ll compare offerings from various distributors and explore how to identify the right distribution model for your project. This is a group session, and you will receive a comparison chart of digital distributors following the session.
